2K Makes Collectors Edition of BioShock 2 Official

2K Marin debuted the Collector's Edition of BioShock 2 on its Cult of Rapture community site this morning; Priced at $99.99 USD, it covers the standard collector's edition bases, including an art book, soundtrack CD, and other bits. The real attraction might be for more obsessive fans of the original Bioshock, as the CE also includes an LP containing the orchestral score for its predecessor. Per the Cult of Rapture:

The Special Edition will come in 13"x13” premium packaging with special art on both the slipcase and the box cover. Inside, you will find three posters featuring vintage ads from Rapture (rolled), a vinyl 180g LP featuring the orchestral score from the original BioShock, a CD containing the BioShock 2 orchestral score, a 164 page 8"x11" hardbound artbook chock full of developer commentary and, of course, a copy of BioShock 2. The Collector's Edition releases on February 9th, 2010, along with the standard version of the game.
