VG247 reports that Alan Wake developers Remedy have down-played the likelihood of a demo on Xbox Live prior to the game's release later this year. Remedy CFO Mika Reini also confirmed that the title is on track for release this Spring. From VG247:
Demo before the launch, most likely not, said the developers CFO, Mika Reini when asked if there would be a pre-release taster during a live-chat with fans.
Earlier, Reini confirmed the game would see a a conclusive and satisfactory ending while also confirming the games recently announced DLC is still in the idea stage.
Remedy also hinted at a collectors edition for the thriller, although it wouldnt confirm or deny one.
It was also re-confirmed in the chat that the game would see a release during spring 2010 as first confirmed by writer Sam Lake with the date already set for a while now.
Asked if it was indeed spring, Remedys Markus Maki said: Yes. Definitely."
