Remedy Demo For Alan Wake "Unlikely"

VG247 reports that Alan Wake developers Remedy have down-played the likelihood of a demo on Xbox Live prior to the game's release later this year. Remedy CFO Mika Reini also confirmed that the title is on track for release this Spring. From VG247:

“Demo before the launch, most likely not,” said the developer’s CFO, Mika Reini when asked if there would be a pre-release taster during a live-chat with fans.

Earlier, Reini confirmed the game would see a “a conclusive and satisfactory ending” while also confirming the game’s recently announced DLC is still in the “idea stage.”

Remedy also hinted at a collector’s edition for the thriller, although it wouldn’t confirm or deny one.

It was also re-confirmed in the chat that the game would see a release during spring 2010 – as first confirmed by writer Sam Lake – with the date already set for a while now.

Asked if it was indeed spring, Remedy’s Markus Maki said: “Yes. Definitely."
