Portal 2 Announced

Earlier this week, PC players of Portal were surprised to find an update to the game that offered more than just a new Steam achievement, as they unraveled a bizarre mystery turned ARG involving images coded in sound files and a BBS system with clues to the games future, and later found that Valve had actually edited the ending of the game.



This led to rampant speculation, and now, with the announcement of their new cover feature for April, Game Informer has revealed the existence of Portal 2. While Valve wouldn't offer comment at this time, as GI has the exclusive story on the sequel, we were able to confirm that Portal 2 will release on PC and Xbox 360. We'll be sure to keep you guys updated next week, as more information is likely to be revealed at GDC.
