Quake Arena Arcade Reviewed By Australian Ratings Board

ID Software’s long awaited port of Quake III Arena for the Xbox Live Arcade could be ready to deploy in the coming months. The Australian Ratings Board recently rated the game on their website. The game earned a rating of 15+. It is not uncommon for new games to be revealed through ratings systems such as the ESRB or Australian Ratings Board.

Quake Arena Arcade features over 35 maps which include new creations and classic maps taken from the original Quake III Arena and its expansion Team Arena. The gameplay is slowed down a bit to compensate due to use of a controller versus a keyboard and mouse. The last time a playable version of Quake Arena Arcade was shown to the public/press was ay the Penny Arcade Expo in 2009.

No further information on the release date or price for Quake Arena has been revealed but as soon as we have it we will bring it to you.
