Carolina Core 30, New York 3D 16 Caronlina Core handed New York 3D its first loss of the year last night, with a 30-16 win. New York took an early lead during a competitive Women's Dead or Alive (DOA4) match where New York's Tanya "Coolsvilla" Underwood narrowly defeated Carolina's Kat "Mystik" Gunn 5-4. North America's two highest ranked Forza Motorsport 2 squads raced next with Carolina edging out a victory led by Joe "Phantom" Tackett which tied up the overall team score. During the next contest between FIFA 08 players Matt "WiZaKor" Wood of New York and Carolina's Andrew "Anomaly" Brock, Wood would go down early but began to amount a comeback. Nonetheless, Brock prevailed 3-2, shutting down New York's momentum for the rest of the night. Carolina went on to overpower New York in the Counter-Strike: Source competition with a 14-4 win, followed by an impressive 5-2 victory in Men's DOA4 by Carolina's Ryan "Offbeat Ninja" Ward. With the 30-16 win, Carolina gave New York their first lost. Despite the loss, New York remained at the top of the standings with a 5-1 record, while Carolina jumped to 3-3.

Dallas Venom 23, Los Angeles Complexity 16 Still seeking their first win in the regular season, Los Angeles Complexity went head to head with Dallas Venom. The match started off strong for the Los Angeles team with its Forza duo of Javier "Chavisan" Gutierrez and CJ "GTO" Nelson grabbing their first win of the season, a 4-3 victory. LA's winless FIFA player, Felipe "KreeganBG" Stoyne notched his first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Dallas' Bardia "Barmoa" Moayedi. Complexity’s efforts were not enough, however, as the DOA4 stars from Dallas', Manny "Master" Rodriguez and Michelle "Phoenix" Pleet, took down their LA opponents in dominating fashion with 5-2 and 5-0 scores respectively. Dallas Venom progressed closer in the standings to first place New York as they moved to 4-2 following the 23-16 win over LA, while Los Angeles Complexity remained winless at 0-6.
