Electronic Arts released a brand new launch trailer for Shift 2: Unleashed today. The trailer shows off some night time course driving through the improved cockpit view. The realistic light reflections and blurs on the road are excellent. Combined with the glowing lights from the car's hud and it is almost like your right there in the driver's seat.
This racing sequel is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios for a March 2011 release. The game dropped the Need For Speed Branding but will still use the autolog technology introduced in last fall's Need for Speed. This means that once the game launches you will be able to track your friends progress in real time and compete for high scores.
