TNT Racers Heading To The Arcade In Q1 2011

Developer Keen Games has announced that the Xbox live arcade racing title TNT Racers is now scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2011.The game was announced early last year and was originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2010 but it missed that mark. Along with the release date announcement Keen Games has also revealed new details about the game and a brand new trailer.

The final game will feature 18 tracks and a local multiplayer mode for up to four players. The developers hope that players will form rivalries as they use the multiple power ups that populate the race track. A feature that is unique to TNT racers is the ability for fallen racers to return to the course as a “Shadow Racer” who are able to slowdown the remaining racers.

TNT racers looks to be a family friendly accessible racer. The game should be priced at 800 microsoft points ($10 USD). We will have more information on this title as it becomes available. For now check out the embedded trailer below to get a taste of the action.
