Battlefield 3 may be all the rage, but that doesn't mean developer DICE has given up on the Battlefield: Bad Company franchise. In an interview with The Guardian, DICE's Patrick Liu says responds to a question about the fate of the popular spin-off franchise -- Well, we haven't killed Bad Company! But we can only make so many games. Be patient there might be something else coming up
However, nothing's been announced, and with DICE wanting to avoid making Battlefield an annual series, it'll be 2013 before any future Bad Company title could release. He adds that DICE "always has a couple of projects going", but that not all come to fruition.
We'll be watching with interest to see whether a Bad Company 3 could be on the cards once Battlefield 3 is on store shelves.
