Blood Drive Swerves into the Car Combat Arena

While we Xbox users will never get a chance to play Twisted Metal on our own systems, Activision is shaking up the car-combat genre by bringing out a new title called Blood Drive . It's a very literal title for a game that involves violent automobiles.

The story revolves around contestants in a game show that must battle zombies and other drivers in an epic competition. Sounds like a vehicular version of The Running Man to me, but then again, I loved that old film.

I feel like there is fun to be had in a lot of different multiplayer arena games, so hopefully, despite taking the zombie route, there may be some good times to be had in this new driving title.

Blood Drive hits stores in November and is price $10 less than most retail releases. You'll be able to nab this title for $49.99 once it's out.
